The Citroen C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition was launched for Rs 11.82 crore

Citroen has launched a new special edition of its mid-size SUV called the C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition. Priced at Rs 11.82 lakh, the Dhoni Edition is available in variants, 5-seater and 7-seater configurations and comes with manual and automatic transmission options. This special edition model is limited to 100 units and adds minor exterior and interior changes compared to the standard C3 Aircross.

The exterior of the C3 Aircross Dhoni Edition features a new logo on the side featuring the cricketer’s name and chosen number, 7. Inside, the limited edition model comes with colour-coded seat covers and inner cushions. Seat belt cushions, illuminated door panels and front camera. Citroen also says that the glove box of each Dhoni Edition will include a special ‘Dhoni Gift’ and one lucky winner will receive a glove signed by Dhoni.

The Dhoni version is identical to the standard C3 Aircross. It is equipped with a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 110 horsepower, with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission available as an option.

This is not the first time that a famous driver has collaborated with a car manufacturer. In 2002, Fiat teamed up with Sachin Tendulkar and launched the Palio S10. This limited edition model (only 500 units were produced, with an aluminum plate indicating its serial number) has many cosmetic updates both inside and out. From exclusive colors and Sachin signature to the rear spoiler and new alloy wheels.
